For The Win was created during the onset of the Covid Lockdowns in March of 2020 at what once was Papilles Bistro, a Michelin Bib Gourmand French restaurant, and recently opened a location in Alhambra by Santos Wy, a self-proclaimed burger afficionado. For the Win is known for its extra-saucy, lacy-edged burgers.

Vita Cane Sugarcane Juicery & Acai Superfood is owned by Allison Mayrena, a former early childhood educator who was brought into the food service business by a family member. Vita Cane sources its sugarcane directly from Vietnam and offers sugarcane drinks, acai bowls, and Vietnamese coffee.
Auntie Qiu Kitchen

Auntie Qiu Kitchen opened its new location in Alhambra in August, bringing the same authentic Shanghai flavors from its Arcadia spot. Auntie Qiu’s carefully handcrafted Shanghainese menu specializes in dim sum and noodles, served in a cozy setting where you can watch the chefs behind the counter make soup dumpings.
Taste of Chao Shan
October 28 to November 3
Taste of Chao Shan is another new addition to the Alhambra culinary scene, offering authentic Teochew cuisine from Chaoshan. Taste of Chao Shan has unique noodle dishes and some of the best beef balls in the San Gabriel Valley, which are made in-house from scratch. A definite must-try when you’re next in the area.
