About
Opened in 2019, Yang’s Kitchen has become one of the San Gabriel Valley’s most celebrated restaurants, known for Chinese cooking that emphasizes freshness and ingredient quality. The menu is built on local, sustainable, and organic sourcing whenever possible. Meats are chosen from humanely raised animals, and every dish is prepared simply to focus on the natural flavors. Highlights range from refreshing Cold Sesame Noodles to the Cornmeal Mochi Pancake made with heritage grains, along with plates like the Yang’s Set Meal and seasonal specials such as Chicken Liver Mousse.
Founder Christian Yang, an Alhambra native of Chinese and Vietnamese heritage, started working in restaurants after college, building his experience at The Spice Table in Little Tokyo before opening his own space in his hometown. He has always had a passion for food, simply noting, “I like to cook what I like to eat.” Yang believes that sourcing with integrity makes a difference in both flavor and environmental impact, and is committed to serving quality, ethically sourced meals.

“I think that the community likes our friendly service and our dedication to quality & ethical food. It really costs a lot to run a restaurant and source quality ingredients, and our customers can trust that we don’t cut any corners. We do our best to take care of our employees, customers, suppliers, and more.”
– Christian Yang, Founder and Owner of Yang’s Kitchen
