Vita Cane Alhambra is part of a rapidly expanding brand with seven store branches and more to come in the future. Its Alhambra branch was launched in September 2020, and Allison Mayrena recently took over ownership in April 2022 after witnessing the brand’s success. Before this, Allison had a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and worked with young children aged 0-5 years for over 15 years. With the support of her family and the encouragement of the brand’s owner, Kenny Voong, she ventured into other possibilities to serve the community besides teaching. Allison currently runs and operates the branch, working alongside staff she has hired and trained. Occasionally, her family members, including her 16-year-old daughter, husband, and mother, lend a helping hand.

Kenny Voong and Vinny Diep founded Vita Cane in 2018 and are the owners and co-founders of the brand and are now the franchisors of Vita Cane’s headquarters. When Allison took over the Alhambra branch, she had no prior experience in the food service industry, making the learning curve steep. However, the experience has been one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. The Alhambra community has become familiar with many customers who are not only regulars but also friends. Allison hopes to continue to provide fresh and healthy options in a clean and friendly environment for the community.

Vita Cane juices are cold-pressed and made from certified organic sugarcane. Customers can order sugarcane juice as is or mix their choice of infusions to create their own flavors. Signature Mixology drinks are sugarcane juices blended or mixed with real fruits and fruit preserves. Premium Drinks, similar to chef specials, combine the most popular Signature Mixology drinks. Acai bowls come in two sizes, and customers only pay for the bowl’s price, which includes unlimited base, toppings, and drizzles, in the “buffet in a bowl” concept.

Vita Cane Alhambra was able to attract customers through various factors, such as their welcoming and amicable service, use of fresh and high-quality ingredients in their food offerings, provision of healthy meal options, and the provision of a beautiful, clean, and trendy environment for all patrons to relish. These elements combined to create an enjoyable and satisfying dining experience for their customers, which ultimately contributed to the success of Vita Cane Alhambra.
