With their new location on the corner of Main Street and Granada Ave, Mama Lu’s Dumpling House has made it even easier for Alhambra dumpling lovers to get affordable and delicious meals in their city. They’ve moved to Alhambra with the same consistently mouth-watering food that they have been known to serve all over the San Gabriel Valley.
At Mama Lu’s in Alhambra, the restaurant has the classic feel regulars have come to expect, with large round tables for group dining and dishes brought out quickly after being ordered. Their new one page menu makes it easy for newcomers to get acquainted with what to expect, while regulars are happy to still see their favorite classics.
Beyond the food, the staff here is polite and helpful; the atmosphere is alive with group conversations over delightful savory, sweet, spicy, and sour foods; and the interior has retained much of the charm that Alhambra residents appreciated from Jiang Nan Spring, which was formerly at this location.
New and classic restaurants like Mama Lu’s Dumpling House continue to liven the already bustling Alhambra dining scene, encouraging residents to walk around and explore their city more and the new and familiar businesses coming to town.
