This restaurant’s humble origin all started with a tiny pizza place called Big Man Pizza founded by Chuck Fata, Jr., father of Charlie’s Trio’s owners. 10 years later, a full-service restaurant was added to the pizzeria and at the same time, its founders were in the process of building a sports bar therefore they decided they had outgrown the Big Man Pizza brand.

Mike Fata, the restaurant’s owner always referred to the place as “Charlie’s” as it references his grandfather, father, and brother as key individuals who worked in establishing the dining spot for generations, and for that same reason, the name Charlie’s Trio was born.

Known for its laid-back setup, this Italian restaurant has been serving delicious classics for over 50 years. Its initial location in Los Angeles eventually expanded, reached Alhambra, and is now serving the city for more than 20 years in addition to its wine bar, Vino’s Back Alley, and 38 Degree’s Craft Kitchen and Bar.

Apart from the decades-long worth of serving great food, Charlie’s Trio takes pride in providing quality and value for their dishes. Their team is dedicated to giving a family atmosphere to their guests and will always ensure that everyone feels welcomed and part of the family.
