At the busy intersection of Garfield Avenue and Main Street, Road to Seoul is Alhambra’s prime destination for All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ.
It’s been at its current location for nearly a decade but it’s recently come under new ownership. Tae Jang, 31, the new manager, is a K-BBQ veteran who previously worked at Quarters Korean BBQ.
“Pretty much starting at 17,” Jang said. Since July 2023, the team has been dedicated to elevating the already exceptional dining experience, improving the quality of meat selection and changing some of the interior decor.
Jang said they used to receive overflow customers from another nearby K-BBQ restaurant but have since developed a steady stream of regulars after the management change.
“I love it, it’s a friendly neighborhood,” Jang said of Alhambra. “Great customers.”
Jang’s favorite cuts of meat are the briskets, beef tongue, and filet mignon. A recent addition that he enjoys is the marinated rib finger.
Another big draw is Road to Seoul’s salad and hot food bars with unlimited kimchi, pickled radish, macaroni salad, and other sides. The restaurant also has large tables with plenty of room for large parties of 15 and more. Get your next Korean BBQ fix at Road to Seoul!
