About

Papa’s Tacos was started by Michoacana Alhambra’s founders. It was their father’s long-time dream of opening up his own restaurant, and after the successful launch of Michoacana, they decided to expand their businesses and serve homemade Mexican food. Customers in the city had been requesting another Mexican restaurant locally, and when the opportunity presented itself with their landlord, they decided to go for it. Papa’s Tacos has been warmly received by many locals in the city and they hope to continue expanding to a bigger location. Currently, they consider themselves as a “Hole-in-the-Wall and a Mom & Pop restaurant.”

The eatery’s founder hails from Mexico City and has always cooked homemade meals for their family, as food was his passion and his recipes were always delicious and authentic. Having perfected his style over the years, they were excited to bring that authentic Mexican quick-service restaurant to their community. They expressed pride in being a part of the community and shared that the support of their local Alhambrans has been a blessing.

We have the finest Mexican cooks preparing our daily items in small home cooked batches so we can always ensure quality and freshness in all our dishes!

Alhambrans love the fact that Papa’s Tacos is one of the few authentic Mexican food restaurants in the city, and they have gained regular customers from all kinds of backgrounds. They have built wonderful relationships with their regulars, and these connections have been a highlight of their business.
