About
Máncora Peruvian Cuisine is a family-owned restaurant founded by Jorge Wong. At age 20, he came to the US as a student and worked in restaurants at the same time. Jorge has always wanted to open a restaurant of his own. Eventually, he came across the establishments in Alhambra and instantly fell in love with its food scene. Inspired by his family’s original recipes, he decided to open Máncora Peruvian on the city’s Main Street with the help of his cousin who was a culinary teacher in Peru, providing help in putting together recipes to add to their menu.
Máncora Peruvian Cuisine prides itself on providing fast and quality service to its customers. They guarantee authentic and flavorful dishes that cannot be compared with other Peruvian restaurants.

A perfect combination of 2 great ingredients, rice, and seafood. Juicy and tasty seafood mixed with aromatic and colorful rice served with sarza Criolla.
