Alhambra City’s newest restaurant provides a flavor bank of extensive spices and a wide range of unique menu items to choose from. Delhi Belly is home to contemporary, modern Indian cuisine, and is the perfect dining destination for foodies looking to experience an intricate blend of flavors and freshness.
Founded by Chef Sagar Ghosh, he developed a great interest in culinary and hospitality management from a very young age. Through years of perseverance and experience within the restaurant industry, spanning locations across the US and abroad, Chef Sagar began his entrepreneurial journey right here in Alhambra to serve the community and introduce a taste of Modern Indian cuisine.
Although Delhi Belly has just opened in the community, the restaurant itself is led by industry experts, with a combined decades-long experience in the restaurant field. Sridhar Sambangi, their co-founder, has 25+ years of experience in building SAAS applications for various industries. He has been working extensively in the hospitality group to build a White Label online ordering solution (Clorder Inc.). Chef Sourav Biswas, the restaurant’s Executive Chef, and co-founder has more than a decade of experience under his belt working in prestigious fine dining restaurants in and around the US. Lastly, founder Chef Sagar Ghosh is globally known as one of the pioneers of modern Indian cuisine. His vision to bring Indian culture and cuisine to the forefront of LA’s restaurant industry is what inspired him to start Delhi Belly.
Chef Sagar Ghosh has helped grow a collection of restaurants that sets a new paradigm within the hospitality profession. Inspired by his travels, he is constantly developing fresh concepts which are greatly reflected in the menu.
