About
Charlie’s Trio has a rich history that began with a modest pizzeria called Big Man Pizza, founded by Chuck Fata, Jr., the father of the current owners. A decade later, a full-service restaurant was added to the pizzeria. As the founders were simultaneously developing a sports bar, they realized that the Big Man Pizza brand no longer encompassed their growing vision.
Mike Fata, the owner, often referred to the restaurant as “Charlie’s,” a nod to his grandfather, father, and brother, who were instrumental in establishing the family dining tradition. Thus, the name Charlie’s Trio was born, symbolizing the family’s commitment to quality and hospitality.
For over 50 years, this Italian restaurant has been known for its laid-back atmosphere and delicious classics. Originally located in Los Angeles, Charlie’s Trio expanded to Alhambra, where it has been a beloved establishment for more than 20 years. The restaurant also features Vino’s Back Alley wine bar and 38 Degree’s Craft Kitchen and Bar, offering a variety of dining experiences.
Charlie’s Trio Cafe prides itself on delivering quality and value in every dish. The team is dedicated to creating a warm, family-friendly environment where every guest feels welcome and part of the family.
