About

Opened in 2019, Yang’s Kitchen has been widely celebrated in the San Gabriel Valley for its delicious Chinese dishes. The restaurant strives to source local, sustainable and organic when possible, many of which come from the Alhambra Farmer’s Market. Their meat is sourced from humanely raised animals, including beef, pork, chicken, fish, and more. The restaurant also makes sure that the food is prepared simply to let the ingredients shine. Founder Christian Yang believes that this makes a big difference in terms of flavor and the environmental impact, he has also noted that though their prices are a bit higher than average, they hope people can understand what they are about.

Alhambra native, Christian Yang founded the neighborhood eatery. He started working in the restaurant industry after graduating from college, jumpstarting his career at The Spice Table in Little Tokyo until he decided to open Yang’s Kitchen. Christian is of Chinese / Vietnamese American descent and has always had a passion for eating and cooking food at a young age, “I like to cook what I like to eat.”, he added.

“I think that the community likes our friendly service and our dedication to quality & ethical food. It really costs a lot to run a restaurant and source quality ingredients, and our customers can trust that we don’t cut any corners. We do our best to take care of our employees, customers, suppliers, and more.”

– Christian Yang, Founder and Owner of Yang’s Kitchen
