With over 2 decades of experience running restaurant businesses, Jiang Nan Spring founders initially started with restaurants in Arcadia for 12 years and in San Gabriel for 9 years prior to expanding to Alhambra. “We got lucky on the good timing. The previous Middle Eastern restaurant owner had the restaurant for 30 years and they were selling it. We had a good conversation with them, and we really liked the location and the Alhambra community, so we decided to start Jiang Nan Spring here.”, co-owners Frances and Owen explained.

The two-time Michelin-recognized restaurant is run by executive chef, Mr. Henry Chang. With over 47 years of culinary experience, he started his training as a teen and has worked at famous restaurants and hotels in Taiwan making him highly recognized in the food industry.

Jiang Nan Spring prides itself as a Chinese restaurant with modern decor. Their customers are able to use their private dining room for intimate parties and can seat up to 24 guests. This widely celebrated restaurant is also known to be visited by Taiwanese elected officials and several international delegates.

Our customers always come back for more. We believe it’s important to have a clean, comfortable dining environment. We want to have a Chinese restaurant with modern decor to stay current. We have a good mix of Asian and non Asian customers, and they enjoy the authentic food.
